个人简介
“973”项目首位外裔首席科学家(2011),国家高端外国专家,获得了“羊城友谊奖”(2011)、“中国政府友谊奖”(2019),广东首次开放外籍科研人员提名自然科学奖的首位获奖者,西班牙籍。
2003年毕业于西班牙马德里自治大学,获得生物化学与分子生物学博士学位;2008年1月正式加入中国科学院广州生物医药与健康研究院。
研究兴趣
主要致力于体细胞重编程、非编码RNA和神经退行性疾病等方面的研究,在诱导多能干细胞领域作出了系统性与创新性的成果,同时为我国干细胞与再生医学领域的人才培养和国际化作出了重要贡献。
